No need to wonder. Tutor and Message Voice is an option in Voice Adjustment, and is easy to check or change.

You are right. Smile I was not paying attention and was too excited to have found the answer. It is the tutor message voice. Now to find out exactly what this thing is telling me, and if other voices/cursers can reach the same information as well.

Re: Jaws at startup
James Homuth
I don't think you'll do any harm by leaving JAWS in MSConfig. If memory

serves, I'm pretty sure Windows puts every program in there whether it needs to be there or not. Because JAWS starts as a service when you set it to start automatically, I actually wonder if in that case it doesn't bypass MSConfig altogether anyway. Of course I've not tested that theory, so your milage may vary.

I found it!!! The curser/voice that is saying that stuff like the Un-read, forwarded, replied and the cell coordinates is the Tooter Message voice. Funny I thought I had turned that off but... obviously I didn't. Being set to a different voice is choppy, at best. I'll try to change it to match the PC curser voice and see if that gets smoother. Can you turn it off? If you do What else do you lose? Shannon

I have fiddled around with all of the voices. I don't remember which curser voiceI assigned to what?. I also can't remember how to change it.
