Control-shift e

Type name of new folder.

 

Control y to go to old folder.

Control a to select all messages in old folder.

Control-shift-V to move

Go to folder you want to move them to.

Press enter.

They should be in new location.

If you can't find the UAC prompt just turn UAC off, try to install samantha and see if that works.

That is a possibility.  It just stops and never gets to “Finish.”  When I hit Escape, it says installation was interrupted.

I just downloaded Samantha and Nathan as well as one of the high quality german voices. After pressing enter on the installer file it took a couple of seconds to start, then I had the first “Next” prompt, after that focus was on the “I Agree” checkbox of the license agreement, I pressed spacebar followed by Alt+N for Next, then spacebar for the Typical installation and spacebar again to “Install”. After I activated install ittook maybe 5 or 6 seconds for any of the three voices to install and to display the “Finish” prompt. If yours is sitting there for 10 minutes there is definitely something wrong.

I have disabled user account control on my laptop, is it possible the UAC prompt has popped up behind the installation Windows and it’s just sitting there waiting for you to say “Yes”?

It says “This will take several minutes.”  It should say, “This will take an eternity.”

Perhaps I just need to download again and start all over.

I thought I would finally try JAWS 18 on my home computer.  At the same time, I thought I would try the new Vocalizer voices.  So far, I have found nothing better than Eloquence for clarity, speed, inflection variety, and responsiveness.

I don’t know for sure, but wouldn’t the usual F2 file name edit command work once you have highlighted the folder whose name you want to change?

Hello, everyone.

 

I currently am using Jaws 18 and Outlook 2016 on my Windows 7 Dell laptop, and have just experienced a problem with the list view in an e-mail group that I have created.

 

It used to be that I could up and arrow down the member list with no problem.

 

Now, it seems that when I enter the list of group members, I get stuck on the first name, and can’t navigate anywhere with my up and down arrows.  I can use my left and right arrow keys to navigate the list horizontally at least to some degree, but this does not give me the complete list view.

 

I’d like to be able to edit this list, so if anyone has any suggestions of how to get the vertical list view back, I’d appreciate them.

Yes, but if I just do Alt+= and accept it I can then press F2 and Jaws will read what it has and I can easily edit it if necessary.

With the Creator’s Update Jaws is doing this a little bit on my laptop. I thought this was a known issue and hopefully VFO will have an update soon that fixes it. It’s not extreme for me, just a small annoyance.

It started when I installed the Creators update... It seems to have gotten somewhat better with the last couple updates but still does it.
