Hi!

 

I need to create and publish a simple webpage.  My skills for this are limited.  Is there some site that I can use to host and create a website that is accessible?  If the site also had some accessible resources about how to go about doing all this, like exactly how do you write the webpage itself ala HTML, that would be a bonus!

 

Note that this is not so much about things appertaining to domain names.  I know about them, and am OK about getting them.  That said, if the same one site that was accessible, could host my webpage and also had some webpage creation resources also happened to have domain establishment and purchasing capabilities that would be super!

Thanks. Had to do it in a weird way. Add a password to the account. Change the setting. Then remove the password because it was then asking for it at start. Since this thing is new and requiring a lot of work, I can’t have it asking me for a PW every time I turn around.

Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign in options.

Here you can specify if the computer requires you to sign in after it goes to sleep, if you set this to “Never” then when you wake up the computer it will go straight back to where it was.

Is there a way to turn the lock screen off when windows comes out of sleep mode. Jaws isn’t always working well with it. So far, I’ve found no setting like I did with win7. Thanks.

You mean the feature where you set the amount of pitch inflection on things like capital letters?  I remember it, but can't find it now.  I think it went the way of other cool features like setting a separate voice for say-all.

The only reason you may want to still consider keeping some bills or other paperwork, is for tax purposes. But you should be able to save most things on your computer.
