Sorry for the long response, but:
I have several machines running everything from win98 to xp sp3.  Versions of jaws from 5 to 11.  Most sites woulod not let me keep using ie8 so I loaded firefox.  The only version of jaws that'll read firefox is version 8.  So I'm forced to do everything on a 12-year-old laptop that's about to bite the dust.  Gonna have to search for IE11 and see if it'll run onn my XP machine.

Suggestions--besides get with it and gget win10.

Howard

Apart from that I agree with the opinion of others, IE is still my preferred browser, but I think it is essentials to have at least Firefox on your PC also as some sites no longer support IE well and I think everybody should have a Webvisum user name and password and take advantage of this great tool for solving captchas.

Re: Regarding "lock screen"

I usually just press Enter and that will put focus into thefield for my PIN. It could be different if you use a password instead of a PIN, but I really like the PIN since I can quickly punch it in on the keypad and whatever length I set Windows knows when I have entered the appropriate number of digits and it will just login without the need to enter the password and press enter.

Not sure what exactly you are looking for. Leasey Advanced is a set of Jaws scripts and emoticons is just one feature they offer. I suggest you listen to the audio demo and, if you really want to get into the details, you could read the Leasey Documentation, there is a link for it on the main Leasey web page and I have put it below:

http://www.hartgen.org/leaseydocumentation

If you want to find the section about emoticons, use Jaws Key+Shift+F for the Jaws Find feature and search for "Using the Emoticons List" or probably just "emoticons list" will do.

Re: Spin boxes

HH. Smith Jr.

Hi Guys,

In my experience with combo boxes, I found that using the ALT + up and down arrow works best; because on some websites, for instance websites that sell parts, when you press the space bar or enter the combo box become activated however when you arrow down the first choice is chosen and that product becomes the product of choice whether you wanted it or not. When you use the ALT key method, it defeats this action. After your choice is made, just hit escape, tab, or Alt up arrow to close the combo box and then you can go about your merry way.
