Re: outlook 2016 and accounts

Kimsan <kimsansong@...>

I have one outlook, iclowd and exchange account.

I remember someone gave me the steps a long while ago, but foolish me, I didn’t save the message. I just remember bits and pieces of the email which were: send/receive tab, edit and from there, it’s foggy.

I toyed around in the send/receive tab but didn’t accomplish it.

Hi,

I have 3 email accounts in my outlook 2016.

I remember someone posting about this several months ago, I think it was from Kimmer and I can’t seem to remember what to do. All my accounts begin with

k, for my email address.

When I navigate between the different accounts, I would like to press w for work, personal for my main account etc. How would I do this?  Thank you for

any responses.

Hi Carlis,

Putting the monitor orientation into landscape or portrait mode isn't done with keystrokes.  Open, Screen Resolution, tab to the, Orientation combobox, make your change , apply, & save.
Take Care.

Please someone tell me how to put the monitor back in landscape mode? I use to know the keystroke but I haven’t had to use it, so I forgot.

Thanks! To all.

does anyone know if there is something I have to do to get jaws to announce where I am so I can correct my mistake? any suggestions are appreciated.

I can hit Insert and Page Down or the number 3 on the locked Num Pad, and it will give word count in a word document. Otherwise, Shift-Control-G. I also have in notes, Alt-T-W.

Bye for now,

I am using alt r then w. I did find out that the command won't work in the latest version of JAWS 17. I will use JAWS key, page down now. FS also doesn't think there will be any more updates to JAWS 17 to fix it.

Re: Opening up devices and printers

Hello Lauren,
I just tried this for myself and there is a noticeable delay when
attempting to open Devices and Printers from the control panel with
JAWS18 or as Sieghard suggested from the search box. When I tried
opening it with Narrator, the delay seems to have been less. I am not
sure how to resolve this except to suggest that you try Narrator when
opening this area and see if the delay decreases.
Hope this helps

Not sure what would cause that, I just tried it by starting to type "Devices and P" in the search box at which point the selection was given, I pressed enter and it opened immediately.

Hi,

Here is what you do if you are using win10. Press windows+I to open the settings app. Tab once to system and press enter. You are on display so tab to the combo box and arrow to landscape and save the setting. There you go. Ask anymore questions.

another way for windows 7:
press the windows key and search for change screen orientation and press
enter,
press tab to the orientation setting, use the arrow up or down to choose
the landscape choice, be aware there is a landscape flip which turns the
display up side down,
tab to and press the space bar on the ok button.

In Windows 10,
1. Windows+i for settings
2. Press enter on System.
3. Display is the first item in the list. Tab to orientation and choose
from the drop down.

Or
1. On the desktop with nothing selected, press the applications key.
2. Arrow down to display and press enter.
3. In the display dialog, press tab to get to orientation, and choose
from there.

In windows 7
1. Go to the desktop
2. Activate the JAWS cursor
3. Press the applications key.
4. Arrow to graphics something and press enter.
5. Your monitor orientation and other settings should be there.

Good luck!
