Hi all,

How do I stop Thunderbird to tell me most of the times the sentence:

Thunderbird thinks that this email is Junk.

I tried and looked around at the settings but didn’t find solution for that trouble.

Any hedlp is much appreciated.

to me its by far the best email program especially if you are blind. its perfect for having multiple acounts that are at your fingertips. it also handles rss feeds that are in they're own section just like your emails. i can't brag enough about this program.

Hi Carolyn,
To remove a single member from a distribution list try:
In your contacts, go to the distribution folder that has the member in
question. Highlight the folder.
Press enter twice to get to the member list. Highlight the member to be
deleted.
Press the alt key.
Tab until you get to the Remove Member Button. Press the space bar.
Alt S to save the change. You may have to alt S to save a second time.
Hope this helps,
Greg

Sluggish JAWS 17 when executing some commands

Tim Ford

Hi All,

Am I the only one who has been experiencing sluggish JAWS response when performing commands such as insert f3, insert f5, insert f7, insert f10, insert f11, and the JAWS find command, control f?  Also, the insert space bar series.  When I try any of these, it takes 10-20 seconds before JAWS responds.  If I repeat the command before JAWS comes up on its own, JAWS says “unknown script called for ...” and the blank is filled in with the command, e.g. “links list” if I had done insert f7.

Freedom Scientific has had me try a special repair command, but that did not help.  By the way, this sluggish behavior started about 3 JAWS 17 updates ago, and I just kept hoping a new update would have fixed this problem, but the problems persist.

In case it makes a difference, I am running an HP laptop, Windows 7 Pro, 32 bit, and 6 GB of RAM.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  And yes, I have kept up and run my anti-virus, and Malware Bytes.  I have all the latest important Windows Updates.  I have cleared out the windows\prefetch and windows\temp folders, all to no avail.

Sincerely,
Tim Ford

It seems that the problem was not with JAWS & Excel but with the display settings on my computer. I changed the display background settings to Windows 7 & JAWS has started reading again.

Always when you have a problem with JAWS and Excel start by
unloading/reloading JAWS. Sometimes rebooting fixes this. I have
seen this often on various computers, but don't know of a relevant
JAWS setting.

Dear List Friends,

Request your assistance in solving the following issue with JAWS 17.0.1806 & Excel 2010 on a Windows 7 computer.

When typing a formula in Excel, if I arrow to a cell to select it, JAWS stays silent & does not speak the selected cell. It used to speak the selected cell in prior versions. For example, If I want the formula, =A2 in cell A3 & after typing = in cell A3, I move with the up arrow to cell A2, JAWS will stay silent. But cell A2 does get selected & the formula, =A2 appears in cell A3. This has been verified by sighted colleagues. Previously, when I moved with the up arrow to cell A2, JAWS would say =A2.

The Excel file is maximised. This problem has started not only in new Excel files but also in old Excel files where it used to previously read during formula typing.

Thanking you all in advance for any & all assistance in solving this problem.

is it possible to attach text or audio files to a FACEBOOK page and where is this option?

I have parts of fiction stories I've written (uncopyrighted), and also
some gospel songs (also uncopyrighted), that I'd like to share with

critiqued, just enjoyed by people. How would these be attached to some

so I would need some one to reply off list like some one has been
doing for my streaming audio issue. Thank you ahead of time for
