Re: Drag and drop

Soronel Haetir

My experience is the same, that drag and drop inside one application
works okay but not from one application to another.

I have successfully used drag and drop in this manner in both windows
explorer and visual studio. However for explorer it was really just
messing around, if a program allows cutting and pasting the items of
interest that is basically always easier using jaws than a drag and
drop. For what I was doing in visual studio cut/paste was not an
option and so I was very glad I was able to get the drag to work.

Hey guys,
Has anyone figured out how to use the drag and drop feature in any version
of JAWS. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

Is there a way to scan a document and save it as a .pdf file? If I save it in my Kurzweil, only the text comes out.

Thanks.

Re: sending to multiple addresses in outlook 2010

I'm getting the same as Cindy, also on Outlook 2016 and Windows 10. I can create the group, but once created I can't review the member's list except with the JAWS cursor. When I Tab to the list, JAWS just doesn't say anything as I arrow up or down. I was using JAWS 17. A quick go with Windows-Eyes 9.2, NVDA 2015.4 and Narrator all give the same result.

JAWS friendly Guitar Tablature program?

Kramlinger, Keith G., M.D.

Hi,

I've heard there is a guitar tablature program that was designed to be accessible by JAWS. It even may have been mentioned on this list.

Does anyone know about this? Where to get it? How well it works. Does one need special guitar tab formatting, or can any tab in PDF format be used?

Thanks in advance, Keith

Kevin, do you have problems getting contacts deleted from distribution
lists? So far, I have found that the only way I can do that is to get rid
of the whole list and reconstruct it. Sometimes a contact's address will
change, and even though I remove it and go back in and add that one to my
group, it wants to send to that old address. I don't know where it gets
it from. I am thinking there is something in the revision process that I
am omitting.

Subject: sending to multiple addresses in outlook 2010

Dear list,

I've done it before a long time ago, but am wondering if someone can give
me instructions for the process of sending a message to multiple e-mail
addresses in outlook 2010. I'm using the latest build of Jaws 16 though
should be getting my 17 cd very soon so might be upgrading. Any help is
greatly appreciated. thanks

Kimsan,
Have you tried pressing Enter on the clickable element?  That works on the Sign Out clickable on my bank site.

I’m trying to read about a job description; however, it says clickable. How do I activate a clickable element using ie 11 and jaws 16.

Thanks.

This is probably a question for one of our list moderators.

I must have missed something in the information about the new list.  I am seeing emails posted to what I thought was a single list, but I see two different email addresses being used:

jaws-users-list@...

and

jfw@groups.io

Which email address should we be using?

Is there a way to limit the amount of emails that come to me? I was not getting everyone's emails before.

The following instructions are predicated on the individual contacts you
want to enter into the list are already incorporated into your contacts;
Create a contact list

2. Enter a name into the group name edit box and press enter.
3. A search edit box should come up.
4. enter the name of a group member in the search edit field.
5. You may need to arrow down through the list of names that comes up. Press
enter on the correct name.
6. enter the next name in the search edit box, and continue the process
until you have filled your list.
7. Tab to okay, and press enter.

You can also create groups (or contact lists, as they are more properly
known), but I've never had an occasion to do that under later editions of
Outlook.

In the CC or BCC field type in the name of the recipient followed by a ; and
type the name of the next recipient. Do the same for as many names as you
want.
