Re: Problem typing URL in Crome?

When using the ALT-D method the URL doesn't have to be cleared. You can type

right over it because it is highlighted. Either way works though.

Help: JAWS will not install shared components after Downgrading back to Windows 7 from Win10
Debbie April Yuille
Hi
Last night I upgraded my Dell laptop to windows 10 and du to the fact it caused problems with my sound, decided to go back to windows 7. That went smoothly enough, except for one problem. My jaws no longer has any speech. I keep getting a message that some of my shared components are missing. I've tried to re-install my jaws but with no luck. I've even tried removing everything from my program data folders and also removing registry keys and then re-installing and still I have the same issue. Any help on this is really appreciated. Thanks Debbie

Is there any reason to not upgrade to JAWS 17?
Kramlinger, Keith G., M.D.
Hi,
I'm happily running JAWS 16 on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop, and using Office 2010. Is there any reason NOT to upgrade to JAWS 17? Thanks, Keith

Re: Windows Tablets

And, I have another question:

Is it easy to disable the touch pad on something like the Surface Pro? I have a Dell laptop at work, and turning off the touch keypad was extremely difficult. The IT people had to go into the bios, and take some other steps to finally get it to happen. Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan

Since updating to J-17 when working with a saved word doc I have a problem.
