Re: Blind Tunes Translation to new languages

Ngoc Ly <lyvanngoc@...>

hi all,

I am using jaws 12 with window 7.

I want to know how many percentage of CPU are being used when I am activating specific software such as Jaws and Window live mail, for example. I go to task manager by pressing the combination of ctrl+shift+escape then ctrl+tab to process plage.

The dialogue gives out a lot of information. How can I know the percentage of used space in my CPU?

thank in advance for any helps that you provide

Subject: removing hyperlinks from word documents with JAWS

Hello All,

I am preparing the reference page to a paper in APA format, and one of the
sources I used is an online article. When I typed out the citation there is
a hyperlink present. How do I get rid of this hyperlink with JAWS? I am
using JAWS 12 (latest build) with Word 2010. I also have a machine with Word
2007 handy. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Alicia

In JAWS 12 you can also get to Research It by pressing insert-F2, which
brings up a list of choices. Press r, then enter, and you'll be taken into
Research It. Does this still apply in JAWS 13? If so, it might be an
alternative sequence that works for some users.

Holger,

Works just fine here. Installed JAWS 13 beta, with XP Pro 32-bit and works
just fine.

Remember:

The correct key sequence is to hold the Insert and the space keys down
together until you hear the click sound.
Then you release those two keys
Then you press the letter r by itself.

You've got to be doing something wrong if everyone else is having success

Help with contact to the person there has make the Windows XP Unattended Setup Kit

Anders Boholdt-Petersen

Hi everyone,

Earlier I have downloaded and used the Windows XP Unattended Setup Kit from
http://www.jfwlite.com/WinXPUnattendedSetupKit.zip
, and it working fine for me.

But I am not sure how I can modify the Windows XP Unattended Setup Kit so they make two equal partitions and install Windows XP on the C:-drive, and only make the D:-drive on my hard drive.

Since I via Google has found that the person there has make the Windows XP Unattended Setup Kit (Terrill Reynolds) earlier have writen on the JFW-list, I will ask about if the person have the mail address to Terrill Reynolds so I can write to him and ask about how I do this.

Very thanks.

In JAWS 12 you can also get to Research It by pressing insert-F2, which
brings up a list of choices. Press r, then enter, and you'll be taken into
Research It. Does this still apply in JAWS 13? If so, it might be an
alternative sequence that works for some users.

Works just fine here. Installed JAWS 13 beta, with XP Pro 32-bit and works
just fine.

Remember:

The correct key sequence is to hold the Insert and the space keys down

Then you release those two keys
Then you press the letter r by itself.

removing hyperlinks from word documents with JAWS

Starner, Alicia <astarner@...>

Thanks,

Alicia

Holger, you're definitely doing something wrong. When I press
numpad insert plus the letter R, I hear "not available in PC".
That's the same message you're hearing when trying to bring up
ResearchIt, is it not?
Insert+R toggles cursor restriction between six levels.

I still think you're not letting the insert key up and then pressing R.

Try this.
1. Press insert+1 to turn keyboard help on.
2. press insert+space bar and let both keys up.
3. After you hear the lower and higher pitched click sounds, press
the letter R. Keyboard help should say:
"Research It on the word or phrase you type in the edit field."
4. Press insert+1 again to turn keyboard help off.

Chris
