Don't forget that Ctrl Alt J will work only if you first set it up on your
machine; it is not enabled by default when you install JAWS.

For one thing, with many computers, the JAWS command to come on is Control
Alt J. If you'll -
1 hit Insert J;
2. the first thing will be Options;
3. Arrow down to the next, Basics;
4. Enter on Basics;
5. Tab, and I think the second one will give you the choice to check "start
with JAWS".
66. check that.

unloaded Jaws by press insert + f4 then press spacebar then I waited
for 2 or 3 minute then when I try to get jaws to come back on ,I press
run key then type in jaws15 press enter jaws never came back on so I
waited about 10 minute to see if jaws will come on so it didn't so I
try another keystroke command alt +shift + j that didn't work either

remember what I'm looking for to see if the box is off for jaws not to
come on when unloaded jaws ,Does anyone know what's the name for to
check the box in setting and show me how to get there?

Hi,
I reset Windows 7 PC to factory settings.
jaws 14 will not install display driver, I did a repair on j14 and
installed
j15 with no luck.
I even installed jaws 16. and get the same message after Jaws starts.
Mirror display driver not installed correctly reboot your PC if you
continue
to get this message, run a repair on Jaws....
the video intercept manager option in the jaws utility menu is not
available.
How do I fix this?

It may very well be senility creeping in, but I thought, but
cannot now find, the explanation for why, on some occasions,
multiple instances of JAWS will appear in the System Tray or on
the Task Bar.

I cannot identify any specific pernicious effects, and when I
close JAWS, all instances of JAWS disappear.

Still, having the computer confused into thinking there are
multiple instances of JAWS cannot be a good thing.

Does anyone know what this is all about, or can you point me in

didn't just dream up prior discussion of this issue?

Mirror display driver not installed correctly

Robert Cole

Hi,
I reset Windows 7 PC to factory settings.
jaws 14 will not install display driver, I did a repair on j14 and installed j15 with no luck.
I even installed jaws 16. and get the same message after Jaws starts.
Mirror display driver not installed correctly
reboot your PC if you continue to get this message, run a repair on Jaws....
the video intercept manager option in the jaws utility menu is not available.
How do I fix this?

Hello Carolyn,
Thank you for the instruction so the box is check so I unload jaws again
then I waited for 1 minute then I follow all the keystroke command jaws
still not restart to come back on either so I had to shut down the computer
then turn it back on jaws came back on !! Something is wrong here and I
think I need to call FS technical support tomorrow to report this problem.

For one thing, with many computers, the JAWS command to come on is Control
Alt J. If you'll -
1 hit Insert J;
2. the first thing will be Options;
3. Arrow down to the next, Basics;
4. Enter on Basics;
5. Tab, and I think the second one will give you the choice to check "start
with JAWS".
66. check that.

what's the name for to check the box in setting and show me how to get
there?

Re: Outlook 2010 searching by subject

Cristóbal

I always use the control+E command to bring up the search field and then
paste the copied text I’m looking for. Be it the subject line for a thread,
mailing list header, an individual's email address or a person's signature
line then press enter.
This works for me the best without having to invoke so many keystroke
commands or going through the advanced search function which I also find to
be more tedious when I just want to find messages related to a specific
text.

brian albriton

I have a signature I want to change. I get get to the signature area under
options but am not finding the place to edit the signature.

I'm simply going to select what's there, delete it and paste something else
in.

All the best, Brian

The start up wizard for checking the state of JAWS at start up is under the
help menu when you press insert j.
Sometimes you need to reset the hotkey control plus alt plus j to restart
JAWS after a shut down.
Another way I use to start up JAWS is to press the windows key plus m
several times to make sure I get to the desktop. Then I just press the
letter j for jaws and Jaws starts up in a bit.
