Andre,
I get that a lot too no worries.
However, I have such a "dry" sense of humor that it's hard to spot lol when I am trying to be funny.
Trust me, if I weren't working in the school district, I would not try out stand up comedy for two reasons.
1. I suck. 2. I'm to blind to find the door when I get booed out of the building.. Back to jaws now and this thread...
I tried Adrians steps and I got nothing...
I use outlook 2013, and when I am looking for an email; however, I use different criteria in the search tab.
I just wanted to try it out and come back and scream it didn't work.

Can I suggest a less drastic solution? You just might have a message or two
that you'll wish you'd read. Instead of deleting them all with control-a, delete, do a search for a source you'll be comfortable losing. For example,
to bring up all the messages you got from this list, do the following:
Place focus at the message list in the inbox.
Press shift-control-f.
Tab five times to the edit field for the "to" line. Type jfw. Press enter. This will bring up all messages sent to this list.
Eventually, JAWS will verbalize "Find now." Press F6 to go to the list of JFW messages.
Now press control-a, then the delete key. You'll be asked to confirm, so press enter. Press escape to get out of the dialog.
Now your inbox will be a lot lighter.
You may have another huge source of messages. Just follow this procedure, changing only the search term.
Except sometimes a word in the subject field will be the term you need. In that case, tab just once after pressing shift-control-f to land in that edit
field. If you want to search for a word in the "From" field, tab three times
after pressing control-shift-f.
I hope this approach gives you a little more peace of mind. I'd hate to miss
that one important or touching message someone sent.

Re: font and format configuration
Thanks! I believe what I needed was the control plus alt plus v instead of the control v. I'll try it and report back.

One way is to set up a reply, then arrow down through the headers. Often, though not always, the sender's email address is displayed in the "From" line. See below for a default example. This list also used to display people's email addresses, but not lately. Probably a good thing if you care about privacy.

Re: font and format configuration
Ed Marquette <marquette.ed@...>
Here is one where it would potentially be helpful if we knew more about your objective. Instead of using control plus v, if you use control plus alt plus v, you get an option every time as to the format you want. This works in both Word 2010 and Outlook 2010. If you paste as text or Unicode text, everything takes on the font in effect at the point where the paste takes place. There is also an option to paste as formatted text -- as well as several other options pasting format . In fact, I almost never use control plus v anymore.

I know that there is a way to have word ask you what format you want to paste the text as, but I don't have that set up and really need to get that option. Any help is greatly appreciated. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... As far as pasting goes, under the home ribbon there is a pasting option where after pressing spacebar, it will ask if you want to paste text only, paste special, or set default paste.

The SSD is fine, but you might want to ask about the processor, graphics card, battery life, and the sound card. Some of the sound cards make JAWS seem like it is stuttering. Bill White billwhite92701@dslextreme.com
