if it isn't important to keep the .pdf file, press alt-f to files, and arrow down to save as text, which will convert it to a .txt file. those are easier to read. or if you have Openbook, print it to the freedom import printer and save it as a Word doc.

Are you using Adobe Reader?
If so. Try Control-page_down to advance and Control-page_up to return
toward the beginning of the PDF.

Or you might want to go into the View menu and open the Page Display and see
if Enable Scrolling is checked.

Or try Auto Scrolling to see if that might help.

Hope this helps.

this problem because, Like Ted, I don't experience it. I'm running the
current release of JAWS 16 with Outlook 2010 on a Win7 machine. I haven't
experienced this problem, either, in earlier versions of JAWS. Could it be a
RAM or other memory issue? Also, I reboot my system at least once a day
because JAWS begs me to. Spell-check can be one of the symptoms. Once I

Re: Copying tables

If I use this will it keep the source formatting or Do I need to tell
the computer to keep the source formatting?

I don't think so. Tables usually end up trashed when copied and pasted.
If
you can save the PDF as a Microsoft Word document, then it may preserve
the
table formatting.

Hi all:
Is there a way to copy any table and a fillable PDF file to another
document?
Instead of typing it all out again?
I am using jaws 14 and Windows 7.

Yes, the focus blue works with both the iPhone and windows seven. I have a focus 40 blue and it is great.

Does the Focus Blue work with the iPhone? Does it work with Windows 7? Are there any gotchas I might run into when trying to use it on either system?

Thanks for any info,

I bought an external numpad and that works great with any lap top that
doesn't have the calculator keys. It is also very small so easy to
transport.

Is shift f10 an option or are there issues with the function keys as well? I
understand with some of these smaller units you have to be alert as to
whether you'll be able to do the jaws key strokes that require function
keys.

One thing to keep in mind about laptop/netbook size is the smaller you go
the more messed up the keyboard has to become. I would love a smaller
laptop but for what I do a full sized keyboard is pretty much a necessity.
For instance the laptop I have now does not have a context menu key which I
find really annoying (I remapped the print screen key to do that but it's
still very annoying),. If I use the touch pad gesture (this laptop does not
have traditional mouse button keys either) for right click it does it where
the mouse happens to be, not where keyboard focus is. I suppose I could do
the route jaws to PC combo first but I suspect I would find that even more
annoying than using the re-mapped print screen.

Hi All,

I currently use a standard PC laptop, running Windows 7 and JAWS 16.
I would like something smaller and lighter than my HP laptop, but
still something that works the same and has the same basic
functionality. What is the smallest such computer in terms of type?
I would want either a built-in keyboard, or a machine that would take
a plug-in keyboard. I have no brand loyalty. What are my options?

anyone know of a company that I can hire to complete this project?

Thanks,
