using eclipse for programming.

Adekoya Rasak

hello friends,
i will like to know if there are any tutorial that can help me to
learn java programming using the eclipse. i have some training kits
but accessibility fis not inclusive. is their anyone who has a better
experience or materials that can help. i am just a new learner.

Re: accessible screen sharing program

Paul Martz <skewmatrix@...>

Ditto on Team Viewer as an accessible screen sharing tool.

I do remote training with visually impaired clients. I use JAWS tandem with
Skype or a telephone for audio. For my clients who don't use JAWS (they use
Guide or whatever), I use Team Viewer, which has audio built into it. Both
solutions allow me to view their desktop (I'm partially sighted) and control
their computer.

Skype alone lets you share a desktop. It's also supposed to let you send
files back and forth, but I've had limited success with that. I understand
there are JAWS scripts for Skype, but haven't used them personally.
Unmodified, Skype's accessibility is rather limited.

Hi, all.

I'm continuing to have my issue with saved draft e-mails not appearing in my
drafts folder, and wonder if posting it on the other jaws list would be
considered to be too "off topic".

I have not joined the list yet, but would do so if there are folks on the
other list who might be able to assist.

However, I would hate to have this as my first post, if it would be
considered to be too "off topic" right from the start.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Band in a Box is purchased from PG Music. I believe www.pgmusic.com.

The JAWS scripts are free and *not* on the Dancing Dots site. They can be
found at:

http://www.torpey.info/AccessTools.htm

Neither have anything to do with Garage Band -- that is an Apple product.

do you have all folders in the inbox, or, do you have all folders on the

I have automatically save unsent messages checked, but cannot seem to find
the auto-save to drafts option under advanced options.

I clearly get the prompt to save messages when I hit escape, but when I hit
"yes", the messages seem to go nowhere. I checked other folders, but no
luck.

And control S for save does not work.

Once again, I'm using Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 here.

Make sure you're set to save your drafts. In Outlook 2007, here is the
process:

Tools/Options/Email Preferences

Automatically Save Unsent Messages - check

Then under Advanced Email Options

Auto Save to drafts
Set to 1 minute interval

See if there's something similar in Outlook 2010.

hello;
although your doing the correct procedure, I'm not sure why the messages
don't go into the draft folder.
you can also,
while creating/composing the message,
press ctrl+s=save,
this automatically places the message into the draft folder,

so, to find this message,
ctrl+y=go to folder,
d=drafts press enter,
here you should see the message which you were composing.

Subject: Very anoying Outlook 2010 issue

Hi, all.

Today, I once again experienced a very annoying Outlook 2010 issue, that I
keep forgetting to ask about.

If I am writing an e-mail, and find the need to leave my computer before
sending the message, I often like to save my message in the drafts folder.
My usual way of doing this is to hit the escape key, at which time I will be
asked whether I want the message to be saved. Of course, I respond by
answering "yes", thinking that all should be well.

Today, as has happened in at least several other instances, when I do this,
I look for the supposedly saved message in my drafts folder, and it is not
there. I check both my local drafts folder, and the drafts folder under my
expanded outlook folders.

This afternoon, when it happened again, I even checked my drafts folder on
the g-mail web site, under my personal g-mail account, and it was not there
either.

What makes this especially annoying is that I did not have this problem a
month or so ago.

I'm wondering if something has been updated so as to make this saving
function less easy to perform?

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan

I don't know which version of windows are using. But we need to set up a
shortcut to your volume control. In Windows 7, you will have several sliders
depending on what programs are operating. For example the main volume
control, another volume control for jaws, and if YouTube is running in
Internet Explorer you'll have a slider for YouTub or Internet Explorer. You
can get to the volume control from the system tray windows key be an arrow
to you get to your volume control then press enter. But that doesn't always
work well so if shortcut with hot key to the volume control would be much
easier. Do you know how to set up a shortcut? If so, you would search for
sndvol.exe. You can probably find instructions on the net on how to make a
shortcut with a hot key to the volume control in your version of Windows.

Apparently you can skip ads on YouTube videos the trick is finding the
skip button with your screen Reader when it becomes available.

Re: Separate volume control for JAWS?

Maria Campbell

On Windows 7 you look for speakers on system tray, enter then enter again on volume mixer. There you will find all volume controls by tabbing. Volume is changed with arrows. However it won't do you any good if your stream is already louder than JAWS unless you can pause it.

Hi All,

I am new to this list, and have been enjoying the excellent and useful discussions.

One thread mentioned there being a separate volume control for the JAWS voice, unless I mis-understood things. Is there such a separate volume control? This would be for those situations where I am running a streaming video that is much louder than JAWS. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

what synth are you using? try the same thing in eloquence if your trying to use vocalizer or something else.

Subject: JAWS mispronouncing

occasionally, I find that JAWS mispronounces putting, but when reviewing
with word navigation or entering a dictionary entry the word is pronounced
correctly. I don't recall what other words at this time. does anyone know
and is there a way to correct this issue?
