Subject: iTunes scripts for iTunes 12 All I can say is wow. The UIA version of these scripts are going to be fantastic. It opens up the doors to everything I need. It is fast too. The legacy scripts will follow since it will take more time, but at least for JAWS 15 and up it is going to be awesome. Still working out issues with focus, but it appears that things will work better than any previous blind tunes scripts. Moving columns should work out also as well as sorting by a specific column. The interface is a little clumbsy without scripts, but managable. I chose the jaws 15 and up first since it will take less time to get something out there. Any wishes for the new scripts? Re: Sometimes I can't get to an attachment in outlook
Adrian Spratt
To clarify Kimber's situation, in case someone sees a solution after getting more specifics, I've been corresponding off-list with her. When she shift-tabs, she goes right into the subject line. So, even though JAWS verbalizes "attachments" at the list level, it isn't finding the attachments field at all, never mind the attachments themselves.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
Based on a long-ago post by Ed Marquette, I suggested searching for embedded objects with control-shift-o. However, JAWS found no objects. Ed's method, as I understood it, would convert the message to text and place the attachment where it belongs. I can only think something in her organization's network is blocking JAWS from finding attachments, even though it does detect them. Based on this, I hope someone has some more ideas, ideally not involving third-parties.

I opened the first attachment, played the song, closed the attachment and went to the next email which also contained an attachment. I tried the JAWS key+A and JAWS did not find any attachments. Next I used the shift+tab and, low and behold, JAWS found the attachment. Thanks a whole big bunch. Cy

Here is how to get to the list of hotkeys for Skype. 1. Log in to Skype, otherwise, you will not see the options menu. 2. Press alt t for the tools menu, then up arrow, probably just once, to options, and press enter. 3. You are in a vertical list of the 12 categories of option settings. Press the end key to get to the bottom of the list, which is advanced, accessibility. Press the tab key, and check that box if it is not already checked. Press tab a couple of times to get back to that list of 12, then up arrow once to get to advanced, shortcut keys. Press tab once, and check the box if it is not already checked. 4. Press the tab key once to get to the list of available shortcuts. This is a vertical list box that are also the check boxes. Check or uncheck the boxes to turn on or off the various commands. Go ahead and check all the possible options, since there is no harm in having shortcut keys activated. 5. When finished with the above steps, tab once to the save button and press enter. You will be returned to the main Skype screen. Pasted from the Skype screen using the JAWS key plus alt plus w command, Here are some of the shortcut keys you will be able to activate/use. General Hotkeys: Set up keyboard shortcuts for frequently used functions Answer call Alt-PgUp Answer call with video Ctrl-Alt-PgUp Hang up Alt-PgDn Good luck! Tim Ford

Nermin
Hi,
even without scripts, you can use Alt+1 for the contact list, Alt+2 for recent conversations, and Alt+3 to get to live conversations. Doug just remappet the alt commants in his scripts to reflect the more familiar usage of Alt+1-0 to read chat messages, as it was previously used in MNS Messenger. Regards, Nermin
