I am trying to get my personal g-mail account to work with Windows Live Mail on a Windows 7 laptop, but am having an interesting problem as I work with my g-mail account. Specifically, in my list of g-mail folders, there is a folder called "all mail". This appears to be an archive of some sort, that contains every e-mail I have ever received, replies to relevant e-mails, etc., all the way back to about 2009, when I first set up my g-mail account. There are literally several hundred thousand e-mails in this "all mail" folder. I really don't need this folder, and I have tried to delete it, but with no luck. I also have tried going into the folder and deleting messages in groups, but again, no luck. It seems that G-mail is blocking this action. Having all of these e-mails in my "all mail" folder is slowing things down unnecessarily, and I'd like to get rid of this extra e-mail baggage. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to accomplish this? Do I actually have to go into my g-mail account to do this, and if so, what exactly do I do? Since this quiry may be considered to be "off topic" to some, please respond to me personally at: tombehler@gmail.com Thanks much. Re: Slightly Off Topic: G-mail Question
Bissett, Tom <tom.bissett@...>
I don't know specifics but I believe gmail stores everything in a folder and simply sorts and displays according to your selection e.g. inbox, sent, spam etc. I believe the all folder is just that, it displays all of your email in one view. It is very posible the gmail won't allow you to delete from this folder because you run the risk of deleting everything. You probably have to delete from the different folders / views.

When I hit the alt key, I can left arrow and hear file, edit, view and such. However, when I press a down arrow to access the menu items, I get the words context menu, but cannot keep on going and get no menu items, this is the same for every menu. My sighted partner says the drop down menus do appear, but JFW is not reading them at all. This interferes with doing many things in IE8.

Re: Proof reading scheme: announcing font size changes!
Marquette, Ed <Ed.Marquette@...>
Glad that Scheme worked; however, if you want to hear things differently, go to Settings Center and type SCHEME in the edit box. One of the results will be "MODIFY SCHEME."
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
You can create your own too, but there are enough that it is easier simply to modify one that is pretty close. Font change and font size changes are options. The Scheme settings are full of tab controls. So, you will need to use control tab quite a bit and listen closely to hear "tab control," but it is certainly manageable. Now you have inspired me to check. I think the text analyzer may do also what you are looking for. If I know I'm the last person to review a document before it is printed and sent, I turn on the Proof Reading Scheme and the Text Analyzer. I know the Text Analyzer does catch font changes. I'm not sure if it catches changes in font size. It also catches things like capitalization errors, open parenthesis without a close and the reverse, open quotes without a close, and so on.
