orning all,
Somehow the version 6.18 of Skype was installed on this desktop Dell
Computer. I had the version 60A scripts from DLEE installed but none
of them work correctly.
Any thoughts on which version of the scripts should I get and
install. This new Skype stuff is getting very frustrating.
And where did this Skype version come from. I have the updates shut
off in the options menus.
I went to the DLEE website and nowhere does it talk about version 6.18.
HELP...HELP..., if any.
Thanks,
MOrey Worthington

copying music on cd

Barbara Hansen <the2skibears@...>

Hello everyone,

I seem to be having difficulty copying music files on to a cd. I am using
windows 8 and JAWS15. I downloaded the "audio grabber" software, so got the
music from the cd on the computer, but can't figure out how to copy it on to
a cd.

Any ideas and suggestions would be much appreciated. Do I use the windows
media player for this, and if so, what are the steps for copying the files
on the cd?

Thanks,

Barbara Hansen

Using WebVisum in Firefox

Bill White <billwhite92701@...>

I am using JAWS11, Firefox30.0, and the latest version of WebVisum. I noticed that if I uncheck the checkbox in the WebVisum options which reads
Annotate or modify pages on load automatically checkbox checked, my startup page for Firefox loads much faster.

I contacted WebVisum to ask them what the "Annotate or modify pages on load automatically" setting actually changes, but have received no response from WebVisum. Also, when I tried to access the WebVisum mailing list, the link is broken on the WebVisum page.

Can anyone tell me what this setting actually does in WebVisum?

Thank you.

accessible CD/DVD label making template for Word

Mario

I'm looking but can't find anything. there's mention about using additional
templates from Microsoft, but no directions were given. I'm using Word 2010.
I have blank circular labels, 2 per 8.5x11 sheet, labels are vertically and
horizontally centered, and a separation between the labels.

can't find a screen reader friendly free program to make these labels, so
it's back to using Word 2010.
any help, please?

I've got another request from my JAWS business partners. Here's the issue
as they described it:

The cursor mode issue is as follows:

In Microsoft Outlook, when I use Insert minus key to route the mouse pointer
to the cursor (route Jaws to PC), and then press minus to go to Jaws Cursor
mode, Jaws should read everything from left to right where the mouse pointer
is. When I press the up and down arrow keys, the mouse should move
accordingly and read that row. Instead, the mouse pointer jumps to the top
center of the screen and gets stuck there. The invisible cursor has the
same issue in Outlook.

to folder viewing in Outlook 2013. We can get to folder view via Ctrl-Y key
combo no problem, but if we navigate to the "Draft" folder the Ctrl-y
keystroke no longer works and it's a chore to get back out of the "Drafts"
folder. Any suggestions? And we were also wondering if anyone had put
together a JAWS and Office 2013 keystroke reference guide, I didn't see
anything out on the Freedom Scientific site.
