Yeh I'm using a satelite tuner card so I use my old sky satelite dish to pick up Freesat channels. I'm using a Black Gold internal card. I don't really know much about TV cards but as far as I'm aware most if not all tv cards support media centre.

I have had no experience with the unlock procedure but have installed Eudora on a number of computers. It has always worked for me! I've not taken any of the extra things that are offered and I have wound up with a working Eudora with a short cut on the desktop. So you would likely be okay with the installation. Re: results of how to activate audio in safe mode
inthane <inthaneelf@...>
I do believe the number of arrow downs for "safe mode launch" can vary with the machine's manufacturer and what they have installed , I'll ask some folks around here to see if I can check on that part.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
and as far as the rest goes its: 1. install the registry file 2. if your not in safe mode, start your computer in that mode when needed (or if you want to check on this things operations). 3. plug in your USB headphones or speakers (I'm going to try it with a USB sound card I have and see if that works also). 4. start the un-mirrored screen reader file running (this can be accomplished with the run command so should be easy enough if you know the path, I'd make a point to learn it for such troubleshooting use!. --- this is all that it takes as far as I understand it... there used to be a method somewhat like this for windows 95 98, me and I think, don't mark me on this but I think 2000 (maybe 2000) I had a file on a floppy a dos bat file that loaded the sound card driver for the machine, and then started jaws running. it didn't work well since the safe mode drivers were very minimal and jaws was touchy about them even back then, but it did work for light maintained and essential file removal and application trashing, anti-virus work and the like. HTH, elf I'm going to run this on one of my XP machines with a USB sound card I have and see how it goes, I'll use one of the other machines sitting here to write down the safe mode loading instructions as I go and give them out to the list and put them with an updated version of the "sound in safe mode" registry file that I will be putting on my site for permanent download. . I'm finding with Facebook and JAWS 12 that IE9 is much more responsive than Firefox 6. In fact I've been very impressed how accessible the main facebook site is now and it's very much like using an application as JAWS is reading alerts and letting me know when things pop up etc.
