Just curious, where are you located? Sounds like a real good deal since the price of the license for pro is much higher.

Re: With Win7 pro do I need a pro version of JFW ?

Let's hope that is the case because I kind of had sticker shock after this happened. I was ignorant enough to not realize that the only difference between the versions is the license. Freedom doesn't tell you this and they get you good. Oh well, now I'm prepared for just about anything. Especially since I just upgraded to jaws 15.0. Thanks for making me feel alittle better. I didn't think I was going nuts when that other guy said one didn't need pro to run under windows pro.

Mike,
If you are running the standard version of JAWS with Pro versions of Windows, there is obviously a bug in the authorization scheme used by FS. I'm sure you have informed FS about this bug so that they can correct the problem and supply you with the proper version of JAWS. Of course, you will be charged a modest fee to upgrade to JAWS Pro plus the increased cost of an SMA. I'm sure you'll feel much better once you are paying through the nose like other JAWS Pro users!

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the information Mike, that's very interesting it confirms my suspicions. I wondered why Fs are supplying 32bit and 64bit versions of Jaws. I realise now that Windows7PRO loads 2 versions of the operating systems 32bit and 64bit, and it will run either , after all most modern PC's have 64bit processors, and unless you are interested in running Hi definition
graphics or like gaming, I cant take advantage of the 64bit processing.

I imagine there must be another reason that FS supply PRO versions of the software,

Re: JAWS and word 2010, how to accept all track changes at one time

Adrian Spratt

A friend has supplied the following answer off-list for anyone interested.

The option to accept all at once  is hidden under an accept and move to next button.  I thought hitting that would only accept a highlighted change and jump me to the next one but it actually brought a sub menu that had an accept all option.

The key sequence is alt, then r, then a, then d.

Mike,

I run out of breath when I read your iPhone messages. You must be using
dictation.

okay.
Try this,
See if this works better,
The thing doesn't like me talking to it have to time it doesn't do what I
tell her to.

A tip for readability: Say the words "full stop" when you want a period.
Say
"comma" when you want a comma. Say "new line" when you want a line break.

Just these three simple commands will make your messages much easier to
read.

I do it all the time on the iPhone, and it works very well.

Re: With Win7 pro do I need a pro version of JFW ?

Michael Boyd <mikeboyd61@...>

Sorry, but I have ran the standard versions of JAWS with Windows 7 Pro Since Windows 7 came out, and I now am running Windows 8.1 Pro with JAWS 14 Standard. It works great.

HTH,
Mike

No, you're going to have to upgrade to jaws pro. Sorry, but I had the same issue. You can run anything with jaws pro but you can only run the home editions of windows with jaws basic.

JAWS and word 2010, how to accept all track changes at one time

Adrian Spratt

Hi. This question isn't about accepting track changes one at a time, but how to accept all track changes at one time in a document. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It's not going away, it's just not going to be developed any longer. Just
download the last version and keep using it to your heart's content.

hello,
Winamp, both in terms of accessibility, both in terms of usability, it was a
good program .

Jaws can be accessed with a player, obviously I have not met until now.
