Hello everyone,

I want to know if any of you have experience with or know how to
use Sap or Microsoft Dynamics. Are there any keystroke gides or
helpful hints and tricks to using these products with JAWS for
processing or recording financial transactions. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Andrew-

least one that would work well with JAWS, in order to watch the local tv
stations, and to recoird that programming. Case in point, my fiancé and I
like Lawrence Welk, which is re-run on our local PBS station. That show is
not streamed anywhere online, as near as I can tell. I've considered
getting the Avertv Hybrid Volar Max TV Tuner Kit from Amazon. Does anyone
know anything about this particular unit. According to Amazon it is a
starter kit. This means it only comes with the tuner. That's okay as I
have Windows Mediacenter, my tv antenna, and a converter box. I also have
the coaxial cable needed to hook it altogether. I was able to find some
files on keystroke commands for Windows Mediacenter. If you happen to know

2.In the tree view, navigate to and expand Voice Aliases, then select
Customize Voice Aliases.
3.Press F6 to move to the Voice Aliases page, and choose the Voice Aliases

4.Select OCRVoice from the list of voice aliasses and choose the Modify
button to customize the settings for this alias.

then, just press the, letter O, to get to the OCR option. Now, tab to

make your changes. Take care.

Hi Andre and All
Andre's right, there are a few places in LinkedIn where JAWS doesn't work
well. In both Internet Explorer and FireFox, clicking on the Messages or
Notifications link doesn't work; routing to them with the JAWS cursor and
mouse clicking doesn't either.
The one method I've now found that does work is routing the JAWS cursor to
the number next to "Messages" or "notifications" and mouse clicking on that.
For instance, my page says "Messages 4," "Notifications, 6"; indicating that
I have four messages and six notifications. Finding the four or the six with
the JAWS cursor and clicking there will take me to those pages.
I don't know what the underlying scripting is here to know why they aren't
functioning as standard links, as JAWS indicates, but for some reason they
aren't able to be activated with standard enter or spacebar.
I haven't found any other spots on LinkedIn that are problematic like this;
I also know they recently did a make-over, and perhaps this is a change that
happened at that point.
I also think I'll send them a note letting them know that these particular
links aren't working with screen readers, for whatever good it might do.

Andre,

There are no scripts needed to access a standard web site application like
Linkedin. I'm beginning to repeat myself. Again what browser are you using?
What exact URL are you typing in?

Linkedin as I know it is a socio-professionnal site. It allows networking
links you can accept or reject. It shows your resume, bio and lists for all
to see your professional-Linkedin connections. Linkedin as far as I know is
only for business and professional connections. That's not to say there
isn't a social aspect to it. But if there is I just can't get to it.

Other blind professionals I know use JAWS and need a reader to access
Linkedin. I've been using JAWS for ten years and am no stranger to the
internet and web issues. This is just one I hope can be overcome. It would
be great to find a JAWS script to make it work. Though more and more
comments received indicates no script exists.

If you have an idea, I would gladly listen.

Thanks

I wonder if we are all on the same page, is he wanting to know about the
social network or something else?

Andre,

Out of curiosity I went to

www.linkedin.com

Absolutely a standard web page, so I wonder if you're using Google Chrome,
perhaps?

In any case I see nothing to indicate a "free" vs. paid version of the site,
and all the links appear to be conventional.

Hadley has a two-part free webinar on using Linked-In. So someone knows
how.

Andre,

Welcome. Sometimes it takes a while to get a response. You can assume that
so far, no one who has looked at the list in the past two days uses
LinkedIn. I'm surprised, too. Have you asked Freedom Scientific about it?

Does anyone know how to use "Linkedin"?

Can Linkedin work with JAWS at all?

Does anyone know?
