A JAWS donation

Dondi

Hello Everyone,

I would like to donate an old version of JAWS to a needy person, does anyone
have a person or organization that I could contact? It is a full blown
version and is not a upgrade.

No, how do you do that? How do I get a document to open up in that instead
of acrobat reader then?

Hi,

I went to the raymor and Flanagan furniture web site and pressed enter on
the apply for credit link. Acrobat reader opens after I press on open and
there is suppose to be an "accept" and "decline button", but Jaws won't read
it. Is there a way I can get Jaws to read buttons or a whole page?

Here is a plug-in that may help. It is called TimeRestore.
1. First download the archive from
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5176021/TimeRestoreForWinamp.zip
2. Close winamp if it is opened.
3. Extract the contents to
C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins.
4. Start winamp and open the preferences window.
5. Find there Autoplay Options in the tree. You may use the letter "a".
6. Tab to see and change the different options to your like.

Joe,

No context menu choice for iTunes. You need to launch the application.

Copying all your files to the iTunes library does not make a copy, it only
tells iTunes where to look for the files.

Hi,
I can offer three ways to do this.
1. Press insert+page down.
2. Press alt+t followed by w. Press insert+b to read the dialog box
that pops up.
3. Press f6 to get into the status line, then tab around to review the
various pieces of information that you find there, one of which will be
word count. Press shift+f6 to return to the document window.

Re: Word count in word 2010?

Tom Lange

Hi,
I can offer three ways to do this.
1. Press insert+page down.
2. Press alt+t followed by w. Press insert+b to read the dialog box that pops up.
3. Press f6 to get into the status line, then tab around to review the various pieces of information that you find there, one of which will be word count. Press shift+f6 to return to the document window.

Re: Word count in word 2010?

Ann Byrne

Press f6. I'm not sure if it's once or twice, but you will get to a line with page number; right arrow to word count. Or if you have good ears, press insert + pagedown on the number pad. JAWS will read how many pages out of how many, and how many words. At 02:04 AM 1/23/2013, you wrote:

Go to the view menu and turn on the side bar. Then the sync will be back as
before. If you choose not to do that, use NVDA, there is an iPhone button
that Jaws doesn't read, but NVDA does. That's the button you need to click
if you don't turn on the side bar. I forget where that button is, but I
believe it was when tabbing through from the music choice. Just turn on the
side bar and it will pretty much be as previous versions were. You can then
arrow down to your device.

Hi,

Strictly opinion of course, what methods are people using to sink content
from their computer over to their iPhone, let's say music?

This new iTunes was a pain at first to navigate but I managed to find
everything that I was looking for, accept sinking from my comp to the phone.
Thoughts?
