Re: Apend to clipboard?

So, to be clear, are we saying that with Jaws 14, control C does not work any longer for copying text to the clipboard?
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
Instead, you have to do windows key plus C.? If there is a change, I wonder why?? Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan

hello;

the keystroke to append to clipboard in jaws14 is; insert+windows-key+c. in order to iliminate keyboard acrobatics, you could turn on the insert mode in the settings center. this will enable you to, 1, press the insert key once, then all you need to do is, press, windows-key+c. the same would apply to the, virtialize window, alt+insert+w. so you would, just press the insert key, now, just press the alt+w, try the following; 1, press insert+f2=run jaws manager dialog. 2, press the letter s=settings center press enter. 3, press ctrl+shift+d=default. 4, in the edit field type in, insert mode, you will hear; insert key mode, 5, now tab until you hear; insert key mode not checked, here you could press the spacebar. now tab okay press enter. now alt+f4. hope this helps.

Oh, duh. That's funny. Even though I saw the spelling, I went with JAWS pronunciation of winky rather than thinking of it as win key.

Thank you! The "tastefully" is sort of a poke at those unintelligible messages we sometimes get where spell-checking, capitalization and punctuation are an alien concept to the senders. I dislike their apparent (and I use the word apparent, because I really don't know) disregard in bothering to try and communicate at higher than a second-grade level. Ah, well. but my efforts often just get those submitters upset with me. I use to change the signature block a lot when I was bored, but it's been sitting pretty much the same for a while. Got to go and vote now for increased access to higher education. Later.
