Why does the site read correct and yet not read correct and if it clearly reads some and clicks another how to I fix it. no malware on the machine according to malware bites. the other strange one is this doesn’t seem to happen within my own page and playlist. there is something when listening to your favorite DJS that is different. I’d like to give props to DJs and add their songs to my playlist as I go spending my 190 credits and earning more. need to find out why this reads right in everny way but 1. Hi list members on my blip fm experiences I am running into an unbelieveable issue and can’t find a solution. I have found that I can only use NVDA and then only firefox to read the site correctly but it isn’t clicking where it is reading. if I hit next it almost is completely randum. I’ve hit a youtube video when clicking next or give props or reblip this. sometimes as many as 10 links above where the voice says I’m focused. I thought about a script, but there are is a major issue with that solution: JAWS doesn't know where the cursor is and what is the mathematical expression. I am using a lot of processing in the background, and the content of the input is not the expression: it is not possible for JAWS to determine what to say at any point, and I am doing the work instead. This is why I was thinking of disabling the normal read until something happens, and it would help a lot if that something could be on the web page. Alternatively, what I can do is write a script to do that and affect it to a custom hotkey, asking the user to press that hotkey when needed, but it could be very tedious for him and given what I understood about the script, I would have to modify the core scripts and that is never a good solution. I heard jaws say "Belark obfuscated quaranteen not possible .I asked a sighted person to kill the thing it said"strike and lace use any key" that was done a scream was heard,quite awful, but I found all documents on computer gone only programme andsample photos left. it hit the laptop like that then went for my desktop,I called a computer engineer and he managed to kill the Trojans but save computer contents I recorded what he did on a tape recorder. The Trojan was actually in jaws acting like jaws,hard to explain they were in an attachment,from local council! 5 trojans, Once it happens you do not forget it I would always get in a professional to deal with it,I know it is expensive. dorothy

Disclamer: this email is very technical :) I am currently developing a web application allowing the user to write, view and edit complex mathematical expressions. For that purpose, I am currently using a heavily modified input that replaces a lot of the normal web browser functions by my own. My current goal is to make that application accessible by blind users using JAWS. Through a careful use of ARIA tags, including role=application and aria-live, I am able to have the content read perfectly by JAWS when the formula is already written, and one of my last and most difficult issues concern the moment where the user actually edits the formula. I am trying to reproduce the PC cursor behavior when the user goes through the formula using the arrow keys: what I would like to do is replace the "normal" read by a custom one for mathematical operators. Typically, when the user is inside a square root symbol and presses left, I would like JAWS to say "out of square root". I managed to almost reproduce this behavior by using aria-live areas, but JAWS always tries to read the input content when the arrows are pressed, currently resulting in something like "blank out of square root". Do you know if it is currently possible to either ask the user to change a JAWS setting by pressing a shortcut or by setting a specific tag somewhere on the page to prevent JAWS to say the character it fails to read in the input, or even tell JAWS directly what to say to avoid that "blank" word ? Good suggestion; I would have done the same. However for the benefit of others on the list it may be that restore will not run, if other programs are not running. And even if restore does go back to an earlier time the virus itself may not be affected if it is lurking in system processes. As Jackson suggested, Pat may have to resort to a new format of the hard drive to remove all traces of the virus and install either from their last known good backup/restore, or install the operating system and programs from scratch. One hope for the former and not the latter, for Pat's sake.
