Re: need help with backup

I like Syncback from 2BrightSparks.
http://www.2brightsparks.com/
There are tricks as the windows are very busy but it works.
The most difficult thing is choose the source and destonation drives. Need to find their buttons with the Jaws cursor.

There is a free version so you can try it out. I went for the paid version because I could understand the program better than others I've used.

Image for Windows which is also screen reader friendly might also be used as it can Restore individual files, if you want, using the free TBIView or TBIMount add-ons.

IP Blue is a truly wonderful soft phone. The hotkeys are amazing. As Dave
mentioned, one can answer the phone from within any application.
My problem with IP Blue was that our firm is so locked-down with security
restrictions -- after Windows 7 -- that IP Blue stopped working, and the
folks at IP Blue and our IT department never did get it working again.
Ultimately, I had to use Cisco Communicator, which is not exactly great, but
couple it with Access-A-Phone, which is what I'm now using, and the result
is pretty decent, though not as good as IP Blue.

I also believe this might be happening with Firefox since it is my

Re: Microsoft Lync and Alcatel Softphone

Marquette, Ed <Ed.Marquette@...>

IP Blue is a truly wonderful soft phone. The hotkeys are amazing. As Dave mentioned, one can answer the phone from within any application.
My problem with IP Blue was that our firm is so locked-down with security restrictions -- after Windows 7 -- that IP Blue stopped working, and the folks at IP Blue and our IT department never did get it working again.
Ultimately, I had to use Cisco Communicator, which is not exactly great, but couple it with Access-A-Phone, which is what I'm now using, and the result is pretty decent, though not as good as IP Blue.

That makes a lot of sense. I honestly don't' know how many folks In this
shop wound up using a soft phone, as opposed to the big sonofagun we all
have on our desks. I don't think it spread like wildfire, but all of us
are on the VOIP system.

Ted,

The Softphone application has a hotkey. Windows+A to answer. Works like
a charm, so that's one to keep in mind if it should come up for your
company again.

We use Nortel, and my problem was hardware related. Getting to the
pick-up button was so time consuming that every message would have
rolled over to voice mail. There was supposed to be a button on the
headset, but it never worked properly. It would end a call, but not
initiate one. What was needed was a hot key that could be accessed
quickly from any application. IT was never able to overcome this.

Good luck!
Most soft phones are horrible when it comes to accessibility. Hope this
one is an exception.

Hi there,

These two pieces of software, which run together, will be deployed soon
on my computer, in order to replace the phone I'm currently using.

After the replacement, it will not be possible for me to handle phone
calls without the computer, a PC running windows XP pro SP3 and Jaws 12.

So, does anyone here know about these pieces of software? In particular,
to what extent are they accessible with jaws?

Many thanks in advance. Have a nice day. Christophe Delaunay
