Go to my computer, find the disk. Without pressing enter on the disk, press applications key and find eject. Press that. If nothing pops up on your screen, it is safe to remove the disk.

Re: Safely removing USB Devices
Bill White <billwhite92701@...>
Hi, Tom. If you are using Windows 7, the following may help:
The "Safely Remove Hardware" icon can sometimes disappear from the notification area. Even though there are devices installed that require it - it's nowhere to be found. When this happens, you may perform the following steps: 1. Open the Run command by pressing the Windows logo key +R. 2. Enter the following command and hit Enter: RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll This will bring up the "Safely Remove Hardware" dialog box: From this dialog box you can click on the device you want to remove, andpress Stop. Once Windows is done with it, you can then remove the device. If it happens often enough, you can create a desktop shortcut for the "safely remove hardware" command. Right click on your desktop, click New, and then click Shortcut. In the resulting dialog box enter the following command: RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll Click Next and change the shortcut name to Safely Remove Hardware. Click Finish. Since your problem clearly occurred with the latest upgrade, you might want to back out by installing version 13 from scratch and updating to one upgrade less, and re-checking. Sometimes these field names sit at the top row, others at the left edge. You may hear one field label repeated as you move from one edit field to another, or sometimes the wrong label, or no label at all. I've had to memorize the table layout at times by first using the JAWS cursor or arrow cursor to study the table arrangement before tabbing into it for editing. Then I go back and check each part to see if the information entered makes sense. Another trick is to use Insert+F5 to generate a list of the edit fields on the page, and this may sometimes give you the field names. But it also organizes the edit fields into a consistent list that you can use to help ensure that your information is entered correctly and in the right order. Good luck, and take your time.
