Hmm, that's a good question actually. Could you feed a professionally recorded audio book into Dragon Naturally Speaking, and it would actually keep up and transcribe it?
I haven't kept up with developments in voice recognition, since I am a fast touch typist, but it is probably quite impressive nowadays.

Hi, Tracy. I don't know of any way to convert an audio mp3 file to

would take a very sophisticated audio analysis program to do
that, and
I
don't know if one is available for the PC.

Thank you.

Thanks in advance.

For some reason I can't get the braille display to respond.
Should one install the braille display first then ad the display to

are there some new drivers I need or what would someone suggest?

My client is getting a "undefined checkbox" when they test a page with JAWS. I work remotely and do not have access to JAWS 13. They gave me their code and I wrote a static html page but theirs is dynamic, with javascript closely resembling theirs.
<html>
<body>
<form>
<table>
<tr>
<th nowrap="true" align="left" title="Select All">Select<input type="checkbox" onClick="for (i = 0; i < this.form.elements.length ; i++){if (this.form.elements[i].name=='selected'){ this.form.elements[i].checked = this.checked;}}
"/></th>
</tr>
<tr>

<input type="checkbox" title="Select Item Number 368456708" name="selected" value="0" >
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<form>
</body>
</html>

I would like to know if some one with JAWS could try this out and see if it gives the same error and am also wondering if one can put a input type="checkbox" inside a <th> tag.

Thank you

Hi,
Sometimes the problem is that the attachment in that field doesn't get
selected. Spacebar sometimes works but also I've had to use the arrow
keys to make it gain focus.

Dave,

I don't get the View option or the Save As option anymore since using
Outlook 2010 and Windows 7.

And to further expound on this topic. In the message list, when you hear
"attachment" just press the Applications Key (or shift F10) and arrow
down (or letter V) to View attachments. All attachments come into the
menu and you can select one from there.

Hi,
Yes no real science here,
Just enter on a message containing attachment,
Shift+tab once, you will hear the attached file,
Right arrow to highlight/select,
Now use the applications key and find the save as and pres enter.

Ted,

As others have said, shift tab to the attachment list. Then left arrow.
As the attachment speaks, wait for the higher-pitched tone to ensure
you're on an attachment. Then the context menu will work, and you can
either open or save to disk (which is my preference). I also set up a
QAT to more easily save any and all attachments in one operation.

Anybody know an easy way to find and open these? The Applications key
no longer works (of course not, it was simple and logical). I don't
want to start a big thread, and wake up the flame throwers, but if
anyone has an easy solution, either on or off list, I'd appreciate
hearing from you.
