Have you tried Microsoft Security Esentials? I believe it is included with
Windows 7. It's free and works fine.
If you want a second one for backup or just to feel more safe, Antibytes
Anti-Malware is also free and accessible.

Yes, and send such lists to Eric Damerie at edamery@...

It probably isn't a good idea to list them here and not send them direct to FS.

It's not as if sports scores are hard to come by, in a variety of media, using a variety of methods.

Re: dot pub files

Milton Ota <mota@...>

It sounds like you have a Microsoft Publisher file by the extention that you
provided. If you have a full installation of Office Professional, you should
have that program and should be able to resave the file to a plain .txt
file. You will lose a lot of the format/file page layout. It is better than
nothing.

If you need assistance to convert the file to .txt, send it off list to me
and I'll be glad to help.

Re: security

Gerald Levy

MSE protects against spyware, Trojans and other malware as well as viruses, and is the most JAWS-friendly and easiest to use free anti-virus program available. But if you still want additional protection against spyware, you can use Malware Bytes or Super Anti Spyware in conjunction with MSE.

I thought it only protected against malware?

Hi,
I'm running windows 7 and jaws 12. I'm looking for a free accessible
comprehensive security program that blocks viruses, spyware, etc. Any
suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: security

James Homuth

Avast is highly inaccessible, I've found. That, and it's a little bit too
jumpy for my tastes. Often recognizes things as infections that, well,
aren't. Including components of a competing screenreader that was removed
for another reason.

Is Microsoft Security Essentials better than Avast, or does it really
replace a Virus protection program. I've heard good and bad things about
it, and have considered putting it on my system.

Rick Miller

Has anybody been able to use the Real Rhapsody library and the "My Music," section of Real Rhapsody using JAWS 12?
