I just tried this and pressed the Jaws cursor-the minus on the numb pad.
Thanks. I was getting the number of pages by using the Jaws cursor to move up and down the document. If I was not on the first page it might say something like 3 of 8 or 4 of 8 and so on depending on what page I was on.

You can find out the number of pages in a PDF document, among other metadata, by going to the document’s Properties. Once you are in the document, press control d, and you will then have a number of tabs to tab through. To read the info in these tabs, you need to either use the Jaws cursor or virtualize the window using Jaws + alt + w. Unfortunately, I don’t remember which of these tabs the page number is in, so I can only point you in the general direction of the answer.
Here is the Adobe page on properties and metadata, which doesn’t mention keyboard commands, of course https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/pdf-properties-metadata.html

As an experiment I paste a PDF document into word and it was 25 pages in length. How can I determine how many pages is the original document when I open it in Adobe? Also, how do you open the PDF file in word? Every country has an identity, history, custom, and culture. It’s a unique landscape in determining how its people Live, work, and play.
