That is interesting.  I have never tried to rip a CD a second time, so I hadn't run into that situation.

The only thing I don't like about Windows Media Player is that, you can only rip a CD once. If you ever need to rip it again, you must first turn off Windows Media Player, reset it, and install it again, before it will let you rip a CD a second time.

Windows Media Player does a fantastic job at this.  Over 300 CDs ripped and still going.
