Hi, Mike. Most of the time, you don't want to block notifications from all websites. You just want to block sites that are giving advertisement notifications, especially if they appear to be scams. Sometimes for example, I want to be notified if videos are updated on YouTube channels to which I subscribe. Turning off all notifications would not only turn off annoying notifications, it would turn off the ones I want to receive as well.

An easier thing to check might be to go to Settings / System / Notifications and Actions and press enter.

Tab to, Get notifications from these senders, and if Edge is turned on you can turn it off here.

Stay safe and take care.  Mike.  Sent from my iBarstool.

Hi Bill,

I loaded the softonic web site into Edge, opened the menu with alt F but
was unable to find any mention of cookies and site permissions under any
of the headings in the menu.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Tom
