My system isn't really able to speak any faster with the natural
sounding voices. What it can do is sustain far higher loads of actual
work and still be able to speak without becoming choppy. That was a
real problem for me with my previous system (a dual AMD something or
other with 4gb ram running WinXP Pro) on that system, pretty much as
soon as I put load on it I had to quit have it trying to speak until
the work was done.

I also don't think so. On the subject of voices, does anyone know if
the Ivona voices are also slowish and unresponsive? I'd like a high
quality voice that's fast like eloquence.

My JAWS 13 came with the real speak solo direct voices, and the training
recommends using them. Well they aren't as good as what came with my old
JAWS 8 version. OK fine, but I can't find a way to change the pitch on
uppercase letters. Am I missing something? Thanks...Bob
