Yes. Normally you wouldn’t see anything like that on your desktop. I have no idea why yours is showing up like that.

It can be quite useful, but there’s no real reason for you to have a folder like that on your desktop. If you’re running windows 10, it comes with the oS, but normally just sits there til you invoke it. It could have been used by some script to install something from the microsoft store or another package repository. I’d just see what’s inside the folder.

I have the following question too ask.  This evening when I went too an icon on my desktop called this PC, when I arrowed down through the list in there, I found something call power shell folder.  My question is, what is power shell, and what purpose if any, does it serve or do.
