To change how JAWS speaks numbers do the following.

  1. Make sure that you’re on the Web site or in the program where you want to make this change.
  2. Press insert+6 to open the Settings Center. This is the 6 on the row of numbers and not the 6 on the number pad.
  3. Type the word “number” without the quotes.
  4. Arrow down to the item labeled “number processing” but do not press enter at this point.
  5. Press the space bar to cycle through the various options, such as “digits” “full numbers”, etc.
  6. When you have moved to the setting that you want just press the enter key twice. The dialog will be closed and your settings will be saved.

I saw a post explaining how to say numbers a digit at a time, and I thought it was great but now when I am playing in the Quinten C playroom.  How do I switch it back?

Thanks

Mona
