Insert+Z toggles the virtual cursor on or off If JAWS does not think, as it were, it is not looking at a web page or PDF the XML representation is not buffered. Thus, the suggestions to Alt+Tab away and return or Insert+Z. What version of JAWS?

i don't think JAWS + Z does it. I'm sure I would have tired it before restarting JAWS. Does anyone have a theory of what possibly is going on? Is JAWS not creating a virtual buffer for the html in Chrome? I think when it broke with Chrome it also broke with Firefox for me.
