I discovered to my joy that I can copy text from a zoom chat.
Pressing
ctrl+1 displays the most recent chat message. Ctrl+1 presssed twice
ctrl+quickly
makes the text editable. then just select and copy! This is true of
any chat message displayed via the ctrl+# command.
