We used to use a Wikimedia application here and I wrote a lot of wikitext for it. I think it’s still around, so I’m asking a colleague for the link. I had some useable vision and also used Window-Eyes when I was an editor, so I’m just
wanting to go back and test if I had any issue with JAWS on it. Maybe it’s an outdated application. It was the same platform used for Wikipedia. I found the syntax pretty easy to learn. Not sure I still have a cheat sheet, but I can look.
We use Microsoft SharePoint here now. I have seen that a wiki format can be applied to a page , which I assume means you can use wiki syntax. I have mixed results working in SharePoint If I have to create a page, I tend to type the text
in Word, then copy to SharePoint , since I just find that more reliable. SharePoint is look so many web applications where you type text then have a little tool bar of buttons for formatting. Going in and out of forms mode in JAWS gets me messed up if
I try to edit in SharePoint and I often end up doing something unintended. If I have some time later, I’ll see if I can look at that wiki aspect in SharePoint.
Those are the only two wiki based applications I know of, so knot sure if others exist.

Shan, will you need to type wiki text and upload files or will you just be accessing what others have posted?
This email originated externally. Exercise caution. Think before clicking links or opening attachments.
My company is pondering moving all our security operations documentation into a wiki solution. Since I work in the group and am a Jaws user I want to ensure that the wiki solution chosen is accessible to me as a Jaws user. That means
for reading docs and creating docs and putting them into the wiki.
So thought the first place to check is to ask this group since there are a lot of folks on this list.
Thanks and have a good day.
