There are some groups that just fade into oblivion because of non-use. One guide dog group, the moderator said he got an email from yahoo stating his group would be dissolved because of no one posting to it. It was never migrated over to another group.

online and just change your email address. Instead of constantly
subscribing to groups. If you need help doing this, please let me
know. And I will be glad to walk you through the steps.
