I already use codex. A great program.
I was just looking at alternatives for the occasional book that Codex cannot convert.

"You know," said Arthur, "it's at times like this, when I'm trapped in a Vogon airlock with a man from Betelgeuse, and about to die of asphyxiation in deep space, that I really wish I'd listened to what my mother told me when I was young."
"Why, what did she tell you?"
"I don't know, I didn't listen."

Personally if it is Kindle conversion you would need I would personally go the
Codex route.
You need to search the web for the Codex page by James Scholes.
You would also need to use an older version of Kindle for Codex to work. Details
will be on his website.

I have an older version of Kindle for PC if it is needed. The downside to older
Kindle for PC versions is that that they normally need sighted help to register.

One last question.
Once upon a time, I had heard you could convert Kindle books to a more usable
ePub format.
Does that take an extra addin? It ain't working for me.

I'm not sure either, but after using my iPhone to get it to my Dropbox, I was
able to export it to OneDrive.
Crazy.
But, since I came in late to this, do I need to install Caliper first, or is it
contained in this file.?
