I forgot to mention that this version won't quit on you, or at least it never has for me with Windows 7 or 10.

Here is the download link for Adobe Reader the free version.  Just make sure nothing else is selected lyke McAfee before you download.

I found the free reader stops working after a while, I had to actually
 pay, otherwise after a while it would not read anything.
