If you hold down the JAWS key and press the F12 twice quickly, you should get the information.

When I do insert f12 Jaws only says the time, no date. How do I get it to say the date?

Depending on your computer model, you should be able to use function key plus escape to toggle your function keys back to their primary functions. Then jaws key plus F 12 should start working again without having to do acrobats trying to press jobs key plus F 12+ function. LOL.
