I am having a similar issue. For me, I ignore the feedback and keep going. What I don’t like is the dealy as I write.

I understand what is happening, but don't have solutions yet. The issue is that Google Docs is doing echoing with "live" regions, and JAWS is also doing echoing of characters.  
You could always adjust echo  and if you create a special Google Docs profile that could be added to the Settings center for that profile. There also might be a setting in Google Docs to adjust typing echo.
