OpenOffice and LibreOffice are very similar and they may appear identical on the
surface, especially for users of screen readers. However, OpenOffice has a very
slow development cycle. LibreOffice receives many more updates and feature
additions and should offer even better compatibility with more complex Office
files. Therefore, I highly recommend LibreOffice over OpenOffice. David Goldfield, Blindness Assistive Technology Specialist JAWS Certified, 2019 WWW.DavidGoldfield.org On 12/2/2020 8:18 AM, Richard Turner wrote:
I would not depend on Google Docs. Open Office works fine until someone can get Word.I am not sure about the other one that has been mentioned Libre or something like that. |
