Hi,

I just tried control shift e on Outlook 2013 and a new folder was created.

 

Try the command while in the inbox and if it does not work then try creating the folder while in the list of folders.

Hi,

I have outlook 2016 on my computer, and when I tried Ctrl plus shift plus E, nothing happened. I do not have 365 on my computer, it is just the normal version of Outlook. What would this keystroke be?

Yes, Control+Shift+E works also in the latest version of Outlook from Office 365 just as Control+Shift+V still is the shortcut for moving messages.

Control+Shift+N starts a new note, this is one of the shortcuts which lets you create a new folder in File Explorer in Windows, but it's not creating a folder in Outlook.

Control + shift + e is the command for older versions of Outlook.

Sorry, Don is correct.  The key stroke is control shift E.

 

Control Shift N is used to set up new folders in Windows 10 file explorer.
