Are you familiar with the JAWS help system? It is incredibly comprehensive.
Press insert-J to open the JAWS window.
Press f1 to access the help system.
You will be in a list of what are known as books and topics.
Think of a topic as a chapter within a book.
Pressing enter will toggle a book from being opened or closed. A book must be opened in order to see the list of topics which are contained within that book.
Alternatively, when you are pointing to a book pressing right arrow opens the book and pressing left arrow closes it.
When you choose a topic that you want to open press enter.
Once you press enter your focus will still be in the list of books and topics. Press the F6 key to move to the topic that you opened. Topics will contain headings and, in most cases, links, just as though you were reading a Web page. Standard reading commands can be used to read each topic.
When you want to return to the list of books and topics press the F6 key again.

I recently purchased my first windows pc for over ten years and have jaws 2020. I also have a Focus braille display.
First of all, is there a way of navigating the screen using the focus display? Switching between display and keyboard is quite annoying, or perhaps I just need to get used to it. Also, how do I mute the speech and then unmute it again when necessary.
Lastly, is there a document, or book [in brf or word] with help on how to use jaws? I don't do well with audio and prefer a written reference if possible.
Thank you so much for your help.
