That’s very strange.

I wonder if JAWS is reading bits of some non-standard window that’s being overlaid somehow. It sounds like a *part* of something rather than full/legible  words.

Has a sighted person looked at your screen recently and seen anything strange?

Do NVDA or Narrator also read “eb dessi”?

Do you get this more often with virtual cursor than with pc cursor (IE, more often in web time environments)?

I am running the latest JAWS on Windows 7 and lately, I have noticed that JAWS is saying "eb dessi" in seemingly random places.  here is a sample from my speech history as I was searching Facebook.  This doesn't only show up on Facebook, this is just an example.

Any ideas as to what is going on here?
