Jim,

The easiest way I know is the following:

Place focus at the filename in the folder where you have the file.

Copy with control-c.

Create the message you wish to send.

Place focus in the body of the message, and paste with control-v.

It’s counterintuitive, but the file will show up as an attachment, not as part of the message body.
