Age has little to do with the software working well or not. Sometimes older software works better than the latest greatest.

APH is not known for updating software so probably the same for the program, however, since it is a very basic program, with some very good features, it is worth giving the free trial a spin.

I checked it out about a year ago and it worked fine on Windows 10.

The manual is still helpful since they haven’t updated the software either.

You may be surprised how well it works.
