Having trouble with receiving audio via a Logitech USB headset. I only want to use this headset for one specific program(keeping Jaws on externalspeakers for everything else(e-mails, google searches, etc Where do I find this sound volume control? Believe that headset contains its own sound card. Sincerely, David S. Pearson -----Original Message-----

With the phones plugged in and Jaws running, have a look at all the Jaws entries in the Windows volume mixer. Make sure they're all turned up above fifty percent. Good luck SB -----Original Message----- From: main@jfw.groups.io [mailto:main@jfw.groups.io] On Behalf Of Cory McMahon Sent: Tuesday, May 12, 2020 6:47 AM To: main@jfw.groups.io Subject: Re: Jaws 2018 and not working with headphones I've isolated this issue to one having to do with JAWS as I'm currently able to hear other audio out of my headphones. When I select the "headphones" in the JAWS "sound card" menu, I'm not able to hear JAWS audio. Among things that have already been mentioned, check what sound card JAWS thinks it's using. On my system I have to set it to use something called "Speakers (external)". When I plug 'phones in, they work. There's also a speaker inside the computer. If I select that one--"speakers (internal)"--and plug 'phones in, nothing happens. It depends not just on what JAWS is set to use, but also what Windows thinks is its default audio device. That can be found in Settings (Windows Key + I), type "sound" and press down-arrow until you hear "Sound settings," then tab through the dialog to discover how your system is set.
