Doug lee has GoldWave scripts that I think he updated from someone else.

I find them most helpful to know where you are in a file or to quickly check the duration of a file.

Hm. I didn't think Doug Lee had scripts for goldwave. I'll have to look as that's news to me.
Strictly speaking I feel like scripts aren't that necessary with GW -- but they do add a little more audio feedback for certain things, which could be helpful. There's also an add-on for NVDA, which is also pretty talkative.

IMO, the latest version of Goldwave with the scripts. there are scripts from Doug Lee (dlee.org) or the free ones floating around. I haven't got a clue which are better.

Which of these two audio editing programs would you recommend? I have used both a bit. I am using JAWS 2019 with a new laptop, running Windows 10. Which program is better in terms of being user-friendly, working well with JAWS, the ability to easily adjust levels for mixing voice and music beds, etc.?
Thank you for your advice.
