moderated Re: restarting JAWS in default user mode

Hi Martin,
Sorry for the misunderstanding.  There's another way to run in the default mode, by turning off all modified scripts in Manage Application settings.  This is where you check to see which scripts are currently being used / run.
 Try the following:
1. Open your Jaws context menu, Insert + J.
Note:  The keystroke to Manage Applications settings is, Insert + J, then press the letter, O, then press the letter, M.

2. Press enter on options.

3. up / down arrow to, Manage Application settings, press enter.

4. Tab to, the, Disable All button, press the spacebar, then tab to, Okay, and press enter.  You can disable them individually as well to eliminate scripts that you suspect might be giving you problems.

Take care.  Mike.  Sent from my iBarstool.  Go dodgers!
I didn't stop shaking hands because of, COVID-19, I stopped because noone can buy toilet paper!
But, good news!  Due to the hording of toilet paper the LA Times is temporarily changing it's name to:  The Daily Wipe!

Mike,

I know of the ins-space and z-command and saw it in the message, but
this is temporary. If you start jaws again, it will use your profile.
The solution I gave was to reset  your profile.
