For me the ElBraille 14 can be carried in a jacket pocket or even a pants pocket. I pair my small laptop with a 40-cell display making it slightly less portable.
I switch between using both depending on if I am carry a briefcase, how much computer power I want and how much battery life I need.
I could go to a more portable version of my laptop by using my 14-cell display with it, but then I would need to remove from the ElBraille dock.
If I was starting over, I probably would just go with a mini laptop, due to the slower speed of ElBraille and small storage space. However, I am glad there are options and I still credit the purchase of the ElBraille with forcing me to learn all of the Braille commands.

I have ben wondering, for the price, what is the advantage of using the El Braille instead of a small laptop and a Braille display!
My laptops are only $250.00!
I use win10 and everything!
I have never been able to figure this out, and I was wondering what you use the El Braille for that makes it worth the price from Vispero?
